Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules governing acceptable use of the GingXR platform, Services, and related infrastructure. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the GingXR Terms of Service.

By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. General Principles

You must use the GingXR platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Harm, harass, deceive, or exploit any individual or group
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform

2. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, publish, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or hateful
  • Promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
  • Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights (including unauthorized 3D models, textures, or brand assets)
  • Contains malware, viruses, spyware, or any malicious code
  • Violates the privacy rights of any individual (e.g., unauthorized photographs, personal data)
  • Is sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Misrepresents the source, identity, or nature of products
  • Is designed to deceive consumers about product dimensions, materials, or capabilities

3. Prohibited Technical Actions

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without authorization
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without prior written authorization
  • Introduce any backdoors, exploits, or security vulnerabilities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
  • Use the platform to launch denial-of-service attacks or any form of coordinated abuse
  • Circumvent any access controls, authentication, or rate limits
  • Use the API beyond documented rate limits or in ways that place undue load on infrastructure

4. AI Feature Usage

When using AI-powered features (such as 3D model generation or enhancement), you must not:

  • Generate content that violates any provision of this AUP
  • Attempt to manipulate AI outputs to produce prohibited content through indirect prompting
  • Use AI-generated content to misrepresent products or deceive end customers
  • Generate deepfakes, synthetic media of real individuals, or misleading product representations
  • Use AI tools for bulk generation of low-quality or spam content
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or exfiltrate underlying AI model weights or architectures

AI-generated content remains subject to your review and approval. You are responsible for all content published through your account regardless of how it was generated.

5. AR Experience Standards

When deploying AR experiences to end customers through the platform, you must ensure that:

  • Product representations are accurate, true-to-scale, and not misleading
  • AR experiences do not encourage unsafe behavior (e.g., placing virtual objects in dangerous real-world locations)
  • Customer-facing AR content complies with applicable consumer protection and advertising laws
  • You have obtained all necessary rights and permissions for 3D models and associated content used in AR sessions
  • AR experiences do not collect personal data from end customers beyond what is disclosed in your own privacy policy

6. Account and Access Controls

  • You must not share account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • You must promptly revoke access for team members who no longer require it
  • You must not create fake accounts, sock puppets, or use the platform under false identities
  • You must not resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized access to the Services to third parties

7. Commercial Use Restrictions

  • You must not use the platform to directly compete with GingXR by building a substantially similar AR SaaS product
  • You must not use GingXR branding, trademarks, or assets without prior written permission
  • White-labeling of the platform is permitted only under an explicit written reseller or partnership agreement

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this AUP or security vulnerabilities in the platform, please report them immediately to admin@gingxr.com. We take security reports seriously and will respond within 48 hours.

9. Enforcement

GingXR reserves the right to:

  • Investigate suspected violations of this AUP
  • Remove or disable any content or account found to be in violation
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or severe violations
  • Cooperate with law enforcement authorities in connection with criminal investigations
  • Seek legal remedies for violations that cause harm to GingXR or its users

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or other users.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or applicable law. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification.
