GingXR is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that augmented reality technology should be inclusive and usable by everyone.
Our Commitment
GingXR strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.
Current Status
We are actively working toward WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across our platform. Our current accessibility measures include:
- Keyboard Navigation: Core platform functions are navigable using a keyboard without requiring a mouse.
- Screen Reader Support: We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to support assistive technologies.
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet minimum contrast ratios specified in WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Text Sizing: Content remains readable and functional when text size is increased up to 200%.
- Dark and Light Modes: The platform supports both dark and light display modes to reduce visual strain.
- Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for keyboard users.
- Alternative Text: Images and non-text content include descriptive alternative text.
- Responsive Design: The platform is fully functional on mobile and tablet devices.
Known Limitations
We acknowledge that some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet our accessibility targets:
- AR Experiences: Live augmented reality features inherently require camera access and visual interaction. We are exploring audio description and haptic feedback alternatives to improve AR accessibility.
- 3D Model Viewer: Complex 3D interactions may present challenges for users relying on assistive technologies. We provide textual product descriptions as an alternative.
- Third-Party Components: Some embedded third-party tools may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We are working with vendors to address these gaps.
Technical Specifications
Our platform relies on the following technologies for accessibility:
- HTML5 semantic elements
- WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
- CSS for visual presentation, with non-CSS fallbacks where applicable
- JavaScript for enhanced interactivity, with core functionality preserved when JS is limited
The platform has been tested with the following combinations:
- Chrome + NVDA (Windows)
- Safari + VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
- Chrome + TalkBack (Android)
- Firefox with keyboard-only navigation

We are committed to continuously improving accessibility across GingXR. Our ongoing efforts include:
- Regular accessibility audits of new and updated features
- User testing with individuals who rely on assistive technologies
